hey folks, just want to let you know that i’ll be hosting a drawing jam at Sci-Fi Summer Con in Atlanta! the Convention is June 12-14, and the drawing jam will be on saturday morning in the prefunction area. You know, the 21st just seems like the one and only lucky number to have a drawing jam! there is talk of moving a jam or two to fridays and seeing where that goes, so if you think that might be more convenient for you, please post a comment or drop me an email.
i’ll also be adding a directory of useful links to tutorials, and references for all to enjoy and contribute to very soon. if you have a suggestion, you can pass it on!
as for Momocon, as mentioned in a previous mailing list update, i did not get to stay long, so i hope no one was looking for me. i’ll get more organized ONE of these days!

i’ve implemented a new page entitled “mailing list.” at the top corner. click on it, and shoot me an email with the word “subscribe” on it, and i’ll put you on the road to quick and easy updates! (i will NEVER give out your email address for any reason, so you dont have to worry about junk mail from me.) i find mailing lists to be much more convenient than checking back to the main website, constantly. unless of course, you just really dig my awsome cookie-cutter blog template, and cant get enough of it. i totally understand. ; )

our overly colorful flyer has been posted around locally to prepare unsuspecting people for the awesomeness that is about to happen.
the very first happy bomb drawing jam will be held at It’s a Grind, from 7 to 9PM on the 24th of january(map). there might be some free swag in it for you, so come on and enjoy some great coffee, cakes, and creative company!
since this will be the first one, the main focus will be generating some ideas, and getting some input from all who show up, on what they like to draw, and where they would like to go with their art. i’m always curious about what people want to learn how to do, and if possible, we can set up some workshops in future sessions to help strengthen their weak points. so bring your sketch book, and your ideas, and let’s have fun!
